To the two of you,

These cards grew out of years of conversations with couples about their financial lives.

Those conversations have taught me that talking openly about money can be one of the most connecting things two people do. It’s also a vital part of a healthy partnership.

When approached with care, money turns out to be a doorway into everything else, from your families and your fears to your hopes and the life you’re building together.

This deck is my attempt to make those conversations easier to start, and a lot more fun. I hope you enjoy it.

Warmly,

Founder of Two Trails Financial Planning

P.S. My handwriting is nowhere near this neat in real life.

Money Date Edition

Which deck fits you two?

Private by design. Your names and anything you write are never sent anywhere, and they’re only kept if you save the keepsake as a PDF. This device only remembers which cards you’ve drawn, so your next date starts with fresh ones.

Before you begin

A few minutes of setup makes the whole evening feel like a date.

A few house rules

When it’s your partner’s turn, your job is to be curious. Ask one follow-up question before you share your own take.

Any card can be skipped, no explanation needed. If a topic gets heavy, it’s fine to pause and come back to it another time, and if you’d like to keep the whole evening light, switch on “Keep it easy” once you start.
